BP1_Welcome to my blog

Hi my name is Nashon Selby and welcome to my blog spot. I am an Educational Media Design and Technology On-line student at Full Sail University. I have my BS in Special Education/Elementary Education, from Delaware State University.
I have taught and mentored students from elementary through college. I want to share my success of reaching the unreachable students, with the rest of my nation's colleagues. The key to reaching these students is first through understanding who they are, where they are from, how they learn, and who they want to be.
No matter how great a teacher one may be, if these aren't addressed then the teacher will not be able to bring the student to his/her successes. This in turn reflects as a failure for the teacher.
We as teachers must bridge the achievement gap amongst learners and this is my sure fire way to get that done!
